Join us for our next annual mini Guinea Retreat. Your dance and drum filled getaway weekend will inspire and enliven your life with the infectious rhythm and dance of Guinea, West Africa. Whether you are new to dancing and drumming, or you have been studying for years, you will find value in the high energy dance classes and amazing drum classes.

Brand new, this trip is chock full of off-the-beaten-path and hard-to-get-to experiences, and is best suited for the more seasoned traveler. Previously extremely difficult to experience, we are making it a bit easier to taste the remote village life and culture of Haute Guinea.

This exciting 3 week adventure is great for someone wanting more of a home stay experience with a beautiful African family. Based at our simple, comfortable campus in Tomboliya, a lovely suburb of Guinea’s capital Conakry, you will enjoy the local markets and community living. This trip includes lots of cultural immersion, an incredible 3 day trip to the rainforest, as well as a 3 day trip to an extraordinary tropical island. A great first-time-to-Africa trip!

One World Dance & Drum

Les Ballets Africains de GuineeWelcome to One World Dance & Drum. We are thrilled you are taking the time to visit our website. Here you will find all kinds of information about the classes, programs and services we offer.
It is our distinct privilege to be ambassadors for the beautiful, rich and infectious music, dance, and culture of Guinea West Africa. Over and over again we hear from our customers that they find fulfillment, joy and profound life learning out of participating with us in our classes & workshops, retreats, and cultural trips to Africa.
It is an honor to share what we have learned from Guinea and her people with Americans and other non-Africans alike, both in the schools with our custom programs for educators and in more informal settings like weddings, benefits and other special events. It humbles us to be facilitating experiences that cause such community and global citizenship with Americans and other westerners, and to be supporting and giving back to Guineans with our sister organization the Guinea Exchange.
Please take your time and enjoy what we have put together for you here, visit our marketplace, visit our YouTube Channel and don't hesitate to contact us with any questions you may have.
