Karim Koumbassa at workOur builders have years of experience in working with a wide array of traditional West African instruments.

Expert repairs

We are meticulous and precise in our craft. When we replace djembe drum heads, for example, we weld our own rings out of cold rolled steel, use the highest quality kevlar core rope, condition the wood, and, when needed, re-size your rings and reshape the bearing lip of the drum as if it were our own.

Just need your head examined?

Drum repairs include but are not limited to: Djembes, Kenkenis, Sangbans, Dunduns, and other traditional instruments such as Koras, N’gonis, Gongomas, Bolons.

Note: Prices do not include tax and shipping. Discounts available for multiple drum repairs and instrument purchases.
